Anyway, at this super young age, I didn't really know the full meaning of the codes I was pasting in or trying to modify. Unfortunately, many of the iconic videos I remember from back in the day are now unlisted and unarchived, so it's hard to relive some of the nostalgic moments of me watching some of these videos over and over again. I started playing around with the Toontown Injector when I was around 9 or 10 years old and even watched (and made) a hefty amount of Youtube videos based on this topic. I like telling this story to people inside and outside the community, regardless if they even know what 'Toontown' is or about. In fact, that certain time period practically defined a major phase of my life I learned a lot, I experienced a lot, and I went through a lot at such a stupidly young age. Openly speaking about this, I use to be one of *those* people who spent a lot of time within Toontown Online's 'hacking' scene- and boy, those times were quite memorable. On a side note I still play TTR and I wouldn't dare do anything against the ToS, I enjoy the game enough as it is :)

I'm just hoping to find someone who use to delve into this stuff back in the day who I can look back and discuss it with and hopefully learn a thing or two from and I think it would also be quite nostalgic. I know there's a stigma against hacking so sorry to the moderators if this has to get taken down.

11 years later I'm quite proficient in software and no longer script kiddie-esque like when I was younger and I'm hoping to look back at all the code and exploits of TTO that used to fascinate me so much and just see if I can understand it and how they were done. I'm soon to be getting a computer science related degree now, and it was all the flashy exploits and codes back in the day with dll injectors etc that first inspired me to begin learning programming when I was just a kid. When I started playing about 11 years ago, I happened to also find the hacking community and I made alot of friends in it who have all since disappeared into the world. I believe that I was the only person to know of this glitch during the life of TTO, and I was told via email that I was reported so much that they ignore-listed my account.Firstly let me clarify while this seems malicious I'm asking solely this for educational and nostalgia purposes. My name was revoked shortly after I created the character and I became simply Toon until 2013, Toontown's final year, when I successfully requested a name change to Reign. During this time, I also co-authored the Toontown-Resources guide, which notably introduced the terms wakeupChance and 'attack mismatches' into the Toontown vernacular. I've played TTR off and on (mostly off) since 2015 as Qed The Third.

Devised and contributed the first implementations of custom SOS cards and self-applicable Toon-up.

Toontown Offline (2014 - 2015)Īfter Toontown Online closed in 2013, I became an active contributor to the first two releases of Toontown Offline. This toon was among the most unusual characters ever created: I made it after discovering the (arguably) rarest glitch in Toontown history 2. I took a year off between 20, and then returned as Glitch 1.

During this time, I had the opportunity to experience the prime of Toontown-a time when the game was still being actively developed and many of its most influential players were around. I started playing Toontown in 2005 as Super Fireball Thunderroni, a brown dog that reached 128 Laff (when the max was 129). I've had, essentially, three distinct phases in my Toontown-playing career. I'm QED, a long-time Toontown player who enjoys writing about its history and mechanics.
